English artist Nolon Stacey was born in 1974 and specialises in graphite pencil drawings. Nolon told us...
I am a self-taught graphite artist specialising in portraits of people, animals and landmarks. I began drawing as a child, but took a different turn, gaining a degree in Mathematics from Warwick University, but returned to my hobby of drawing soon after and began specialising in portraits.
I have been working as an Artist for the last 5 years and have undertaken a variety of commissioned work, ranging from portraits of people and pets, to buildings and streets.
When drawing, my main goals for any piece of art are realism, likeness and detail. This is achieved through painstaking attention to detail, and meticulous accuracy. Kadinsky Art publishes prints of my celebrity portraits across the UK, Europe and the US. In addition to this I also have my original York landscapes and buildings sold through Braithwaites Gallery in York.
