The portrait of Brennen was commissioned by his grandparents as a Christmas gift for their son and daughter-in-law.

This commission was not without its challenges...(that whispy blond hair for a starter), but I am really pleased with the finished portrait...I love the way the light plays in Brennan's hair and how the little tufts are standing up on top, the soft shadows on his face, and his "smiling eyes"...this is BRENNAN! I took WIP photos as I worked so grandma and grandpa could see their portrait progress. I have since turned these photos into a tutorial, (Portrait Tutorial...young boy), and posted it on my blog.
