'Speed & Grace' Western Rodeo graphite pencil drawing by Richard Adams
Speed & Grace  by  Richard Adams
"Speed & Grace" is the first of the Western Rodeo themes. It depicts the high energy competition of Pole Bending where a rider masterfully weaves their horse through a series of five poles before sprinting to the finish line. The title is intended to speak not just to the skills needed to become a master at the sport, but also the possible name of this particular rider and mount.
