Edith lives in the north east of England and her love of drawing began as recently as March 2002. Edith told us...
My family of three daughters, Dawn, Kirstie and Leah, are grown so I live with Bill, my husband of 37 years, and my two German Shepherd dogs Solomon and Freyah. I am qualified as a Paralegal and as a Special Needs Teacher and I also have hypnotherapy and stress management qualifications.
I recently started to show my work and my most recent exhibitions were at Jarrow and Sunderland - both in the county of Tyne & Wear where I live. I also have work in collections in Ireland, London, New Zealand, America and the UK.
My favourite artists are the great J.W.M.Turner and Pierre-Joseph Redouté (who painted the flowers for Napoleon's Josephine in her private garden at Malmaison near Paris). When I am not creating art I write short stories, childrens' stories, television plays and screen plays - those are my two passions.
I am happy to undertake commission work. Please e-mail me to discuss it.
